I am a CFO with a strong foundation in accountancy and extensive experience in media and trade industries. Over the course of my career, I have led and supported complex financial integrations, streamlined reporting processes, and provided strategic insight to senior management. My expertise spans legal mergers, system alignments, group control activities, and continuous improvement of financial operations.

    I began my career in accountancy, mastering local and groupโ€level accounting principles. This solid grounding enables me to ensure accurate, compliant, and insightful financial reporting tailored to management needs.

    I orchestrated the alignment and merge of two distinct administrative environments, transitioning from Exact Globe to SAP. This initiative involved data mapping, validation, user training, and postโ€goโ€live supportโ€”ultimately delivering a unified, scalable platform.

  • Legal Mergers & Liquidations
    I played a pivotal role in the legal merger of several Dutch entities and the liquidation of nonโ€core companies. Working closely with legal counsel, tax advisors, and external auditors, I ensured timely completion, mitigated risk, and maintained transparent communication with stakeholders.

  • Group Control & Leadership

With a passion for culinary excellence that ignited during my formative years, I have cultivated a career as an executive and culinary chef, specializing in fine dining experiences across Michelin-starred restaurants, luxurious hotels, and bespoke catering companies. My journey began at culinary school ROC Amsterdam. During and after my studies I was fortunate to be trained and inspired by luminaries in the culinary world, including the legendary Heston Blumenthal of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and the innovative Joris Bijdendijk from Restaurant Rijks. Their mentorship ignited my pursuit of perfection, shaping my philosophy that food is not merely sustenance but an art form that evokes emotion and connection.

My dedication to the culinary arts led me to compete in the prestigious Amsterdam Hilton Double Tree competition for Best Chef, where I showcased my creativity and skill on a grand stage. This experience reinforced my belief that true culinary innovation thrives in environments that encourage both personal and professional growth. As a former executive chef and management leader at the Booking.com campus in Amsterdam, I led a talented team above 250 employees (menu engineering, following production kitchen and collaboration with curation team) to create memorable dining experiences that catered to diverse tastes while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Beyond my executive role, I proudly serve as an SVH Leermeester, acting as a food assessor for aspiring students and chefs in restaurants and the catering industry. This position allows me to share my knowledge and passion for up-to-date culinary technologies, ensuring that the next generation of chefs is equipped to push boundaries and embrace sustainability. As a staunch advocate for local sourcing, I believe in the power of fresh, seasonal ingredients to not only elevate dishes but also support our communities.
